Accelerating M2M Solutions to Market

Machine-to-machine (M2M) technology is bringing rapid and significant change to a wide variety of industries and to our everyday lives. There are billions of electronic devices that are well-suited to take advantage of M2M technology.  These devices have broad applications that include; fleet management, security surveillance cameras, handheld medical devices, smart home appliances and meters, asset and people tracking, traffic systems, and many other innovative usages.   M2M technology will bring many benefits, including: greater productivity, energy conservation, remote access, cost efficiency, personal security, and enhanced healthcare and fitness.

Harbor Research reports that the annual number of cellular M2M connections will grow to 161 million globally by the end of 2011, and is projected to reach 390 million by 2014.  While the promise of M2M is substantial, there are numerous challenges in development of M2M solutions.  The newly formed M2M SIG invites you to hear from and interact with an outstanding panel of industry leaders in the M2M and connected devices space as they discuss the impediments and solutions for accelerating M2M solutions to market.
