Dave Ross
Sr. Director, Business Development, Snaptracs, a Qualcomm Division
With more than 20 years of wireless experience, David is currently the Sr. Director of Business Development for Qualcomm’s Snaptracs Division, which has recently launched the Tagg product for tracking pets at http://www.tagg.com. David joined Qualcomm in 1996 as a product manager for the first commercial CDMA phone. Dave later worked on the first CDMA phone with mobile Internet (The Q phone), and the first phone with an App Store (The QCP 3035). After helping to drive the first generations of CDMA phones into market, Dave joined the Eudora™ team to support the Eudora email client’s transition to advertising supported software. QUALCOMM’s BREW™ Division (QIS), the first mobile application store, was soon formed to support the growing needs of the mobile data market and the growing importance of driving third party applications on mobile devices. Experienced in third party software ecosystems from working on Eudora, Dave joined the early BREW team to help drive developers to create the first phone applications. As Nextel became a customer for QUALCOMM’s first BREW application for push-to-talk over wireless data networks, QChat™, Dave joined the team to drive business development. Dave was responsible for helping to setting up the worldwide business of QChat, including both carrier sales, and infrastructure/handset licensing. David holds 14 patents and is listed on 7 patents covering wireless and computing: services, devices, and accessories. Dave has around 10 patents pending. Prior to joining QUALCOMM, David was recruited to perform product innovation and sales for the first hybrid mobile satellite/terrestrial telephone system launched in the United States, American Mobile Satellite Corporation, currently known as LightSquared. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology and was a United States Marine.
Patrick Bertagna
CEO, GTX Corp
Mr. Bertagna is the Chairman, President, CEO and founder of GTX Corp and co-inventor of our patented GPS Footwear technology (US Patent No. 6,788,200). His career spans 27+ years in building companies in both technology and consumer branded products. Patrick began his career importing apparel from Europe and later went on to design and manufacture a line of clothing, accessories and footwear in over 20 countries, with sales exceeding $27 million, selling to U.S. retailers from JC Penny’s to Neiman Marcus. In 1993 Mr. Bertagna transitioned into the world of software technology and founded Barcode World, Inc. a supply chain management application company, enabling the accurate tracking of consumer products from design to retail distribution. Within four years the company had over 450 premier branded accounts with a staff of 40 plus in the U.S., Eastern Europe and India. After selling his company Mr. Bertagna then combined his two past careers (consumer products and tracking technology) and founded GTX Corp in 2002. Mr. Bertagna was born in the South of France and is fluent in French and Spanish; has formed alliances with Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, AT&T, Sports Authority, Federated Stores, Netscape and GE; and has been a keynote speaker at numerous industry trade shows and conferences.
Brian Salisbury
Director, Business Development, TeleCommunication Systems (TCS)
Brian Salisbury is Director of Business Development at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS). At TCS, he is responsible for developing new business with OEM’s, platform providers and developers in the LBS ecosystem. Brian has worked in the mobile industry for more than 25 years, with most of that experience being in mobile data and location based services, and within semiconductor, device manufacturer, and network operator companies.
Bryan Trussel
CEO & Co-Founder, Glympse
Bryan Trussel is co-founder and CEO of Glympse, a mobile software company focused on making location sharing a simple and powerful solution for the masses. Previously, as a 16-year Microsoft veteran, Bryan has lead teams focused on delivering solutions for Windows, Interactive TV, Embedded Systems, Messenger Games, and Xbox Live Arcade. He has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern. The venture backed company is located in Seattle Wa.

At Navigation Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hertz, Linda utilizes her understanding of location based services, telematics, consumer electronics, and competitive market intelligence to develop strategic business partnerships, and create and execute successful growth strategies for Hertz corporate accounts.
